Each room has a very different aspect. Hiramony is the room with a view of the major snowy peak. Second best is Gola which offers a good view of mountains and deep valley. January to March is the highest snowfall time here and in April hills turn red with the flowering of Rhododendrons.
The activities options are wide here. Laze in planter’s chairs and enjoy the views and sunshine or sunset. Once you are out of its snug interiors, there are mountain walks, treks and camping experiences. Alternately pack your fishing gear and a picnic lunch and hike down to the river. Even yoga and meditation sessions can be arranged on request as well. A stay here can be combined perfectly with the Kumaon Village experiences that offer some of the most stunning glimpses of mountains.
By road it takes around four hours from Almora in Uttaranchal. If you want to head straight for the wonders of Leti, it is accessible by private charter to nearby Pithoragarh.
